POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Student Development, the Associate Director of Student Mobilization and Placement is responsible for strategic direction and management of the various programs related to the mobilization and placement of The King’s University students, including: chapel and community worship, service and outreach opportunities (global and domestic), ministry teams, a program for vocational discernment, and student engagement and experience. This position requires some evening and weekend hours.

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Student Development leadership team and the Enrollment Partnerships Coordinator to align student initiatives with university goals.
- Manage budgets for all student mobilization programs and related events.
- Coordinate with students, faculty, staff, vendors, and community partners to deliver effective student programming.
- Serve on the pastoral care team, supporting spiritual formation and practical ministry needs.
- Serve as a collaborative team member for the planning and execution of chapel programs in alignment with university values and Presidential initiatives.
- Supervise, mentor, and train student leaders to foster leadership development.
- Lead campus outreach and service initiatives that foster student involvement and community impact.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with missions and ministry partners to support trips, events, and student placements.
- Host visiting ministry partners to build connections and facilitate student engagement.
- Provide leadership training for ministry team members, and missions and outreach teams.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of traveling ministry teams in collaboration with Admissions and Advancement.
- Develop ministry team partnerships to create meaningful placement opportunities for student leaders.
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan for vocational discernment in collaboration with Student Services.
- Partner with the Director of Academic Practicums to support student career and ministry pathways.
- Administer and promote the TKU Send platform, including onboarding and training for student users.
- Assist in the student conduct process and act as Title IX Coordinator as needed.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Master’s degree in Ministry, Organizational Leadership, or related field, required.
Competencies
- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with students and ministry staff.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism.
- Self-initiation and self-motivation for independent follow-through on projects.
- Ability to understand, summarize and present information in both written and oral formats.
- Ability to organize materials and work with a variety of projects simultaneously.
- The ability to interpret data and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals.
- The ability to develop, interpret and apply University policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- At least five years’ experience working in higher education and ministry
Other Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License, required. Incumbent will be required to drive TKU’s vehicle for events.
