Student Worker - Federal Work Study-Admissions
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions, the Student Worker is responsible for assisting with daily Office of Admissions support and recruitment events. This position will assist with data entry, correspondence with prospective students, recruitment and admissions activities on and off-campus. Students who are hired must be eligible for the Federal Work Study program.

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Assists with recruitment events, campus visits, and other off-site recruitment efforts.
- Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude when interacting with the public.
- Assist with inbound/outbound calls, emails, social media, and text message inquiries.
- Providing administrative support such as data entry, photocopying, and office supply inventory.
- Assisting with university marketing and social media efforts to reach potential applicants.
- Collaborating with other campus departments to market and promote student involvement opportunities.
- Serving as a resource and peer mentor to fellow students, modeling the values of The King’s University.
- Completing other duties as assigned by the professional staff
- Assist the department in maintaining the highest standards of customer service, accuracy, integrity, security, confidentiality and compliance (FERPA).
- Model core organizational beliefs and values; communicate openly and effectively within and across departments.
- Establish and maintain professional communication and ensure that all interactions are supportive, courteous, and respectful (TKU Social Covenant).
- Utilize effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly both internally and externally.
- Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Eligible for the Federal Work Study program.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate a range of recruitment/student development events and activities
- Shows a minimum academic status of “Good Standing” and maintains SAP
