POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Associate Director of Enterprise Technology is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the university’s core enterprise technology platforms and infrastructure. This position serves as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, endpoint management, and enterprise productivity systems, ensuring secure and reliable access to technology resources for all university staff, faculty, and students. The Associate Director of Enterprise Technology works collaboratively with the IT team and other departments to deliver consistent, scalable, and secure enterprise services.

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Manage Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policies, and identity lifecycle management
- Administer Cayosoft for Active Directory automation and governance
- Administer Intune for device enrollment and compliance policies
- Administer Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including threat monitoring and incident response escalation
- Administer SSO configurations across enterprise and academic platforms, coordinating with the Academic Systems Administrator on overlapping systems
- Administer AWS Cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPC networking, Route 53 DNS, S3 storage, and related cloud resources
- Manage Power Automate workflows to automate business processes
- Administer and maintain university-wide Zoom platform, including licensing, phone system, room systems integration, and user support
- Administer Slack, including workspace configuration, channel management, app integrations, and user provisioning
- Manage enterprise printing infrastructure using uniFLOW Online Cloud, including print queue management, user authentication rules, policy configuration, and printer fleet administration
- Administer NinjaOne for Windows endpoint management, including remote monitoring, patch management, scripting, and device health reporting
- Provide classroom technology support, including AV systems, projectors, and integrated classroom technology environments
- Serve as the escalation point for help desk tickets related to enterprise systems
- Provide systems support for university staff, faculty, adjuncts, and students
- Assist in developing training materials for staff, faculty, adjuncts, and students
- Maintain accurate documentation of all systems, processes, and procedures
- Participate in Strategic Planning and IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and procedures
- Assist in monitoring for security incidents and vulnerabilities as needed
- Log and track support requests

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with comparable experience, preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, AAD, and on-premises AD required
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint preferred
- Experience with SSO configuration and identity federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) preferred
- Experience with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, VPC, S3, and Route 53, preferred
- Experience with enterprise printing administration and classroom/AV technology preferred
- Experience administering Zoom or similar enterprise video conferencing platforms preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Prior experience in a higher education environment preferred
Certifications (Preferred):
- Relevant certifications in systems administration, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure are a plus
