POSITION SUMMARY
The adjunct faculty member is a part-time instructor expected to provide high-quality education and mentorship to students at The King's University (TKU). Reporting to the Dean of Undergraduate Studies for General Education, this position requires expertise in Natural Sciences, effective classroom management, and alignment with the University's mission and values.

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in natural science courses following catalog descriptions and defined outcomes.
- Develop and manage a course syllabus that aligns with departmental and University standards.
- Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student performance through assignments, exams, and discussions.
- Stay current with industry and subject matter developments and incorporate them into teaching.
- Participate in departmental curriculum development as needed.
- Communicate regularly with students and supervisor, including responding to e-mails, calls, and requests for meetings
- The role will require the ability to teach on ground from time to time.
University-Wide Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records and submit required reports and grades within deadlines.
- Attend faculty meetings and training sessions as requested.
- Comply with all policies, legal requirements, and directives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Master’s degree in Natural Science (required).
- Ph.D. is preferred
Experience
- Master’s degree in a natural science discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science) or a related field
- Prior teaching experience in higher education or relevant professional experience
